Positive report, and a question about pauses.

I received my Mk4 kit a week and a half ago, and my son and I assembled it over last weekend. He was able to do the vast majority of the assembly, with me watching over his shoulder and helping when needed. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Everything went smoothly and we were up and running by this past Monday without a single hitch. I have yet to have a failed print, and even did a large flat (185 x 205 x 7)  jig for work with 20 friction fit recesses that fit the parts beautifully. I couldn't my be happier with the print quality and speed

I've done a bit of testing with the pause process mid print (since I expect to need it at some point, and picking a string or blob mid-print at input shaping speeds would be challenging), and found that the extruder oozes a bit when paused.  I'm wondering if there are settings that I can tweak during pauses to minimize or eliminate the oozing.  I'm thinking retracting the filament out of the heat zone, and then feeding it back down while it moves to resume printing (as has been tested [successfully] by folks on IDEX / tool changers etc..)  I would think that treating pauses the same way should work. I just don't know how to edit the pause g code.

Any help would be appreciated.
