Play on Trapeziodal Nut
My new Mk 4 built from kit is working well, but I'm concerned as it feels like there is a potential issue lurking which is likely to become more evident, and might start actually affecting print.
My Mk3 even after years use has no measurable play between either trapezoidal nut and the vertical screw thread. This Mk 4 has no measureable play on the right side, but the left can be moved up and down by holding the body enough to cause it to make a metallic "knock". Its NOT loose in the carrier body, its def caused by play between the nut and shaft threads.
Looks to me that the nut has too much play in its cut thread. Anyone else had this?
