Persistent plastic blob at 1st (1/9) probe point

I'm having quite a lot of fun successfully printing parts of my own design on my MK4 kit.

I'm using PLA on the smooth sheet, and I notice there's a persistent plastic blob at the 1st probe point. While I'm able to remove all other plastic detritus from the sheet with a scraper I downloaded from printables or 91% IPA, that one small blob remains steadfast. It seems a little odd that such a problem occurs at that particular point as it's not the 1st contact point in the pre-print program.

The probing function senses the blob and tries a new spot a mm or so away. I flipped the plate wondering if the blob would reappear, and indeed it did.

Thoughts?

I've had a few blobs which a printed scraper won't remove. A metal scraper such as a flexible putty knife will do it in this case. Use it gently and take care not to let the corner of the blade dig in. That's it it bothers you - often I've found it doesn't cause any problems.

I've had this issue too until I changed the way I started my prints. Try heating the bed up first and use your finger nail, or plastic scraper - this worked well for me.
