Operating Temperature Range

Hi,

I'm new into 3d printing and was wondering if it's ok to operate the MK4 printer in a garage where temperatures get up to 120 degree F.

I planning to have a Prusa Enclosure with a filter installed too.

So, would that be ok, or that can damage the printer?

Best,

Ashur..

Thank you so much for the info.

That is a little low for what we regularly get in summer, up to 48 degree C.

But is that mainly because of the filament requirements or the machine too?

Best,

Ashur

48C is high for Ambient temperature, with PLA

I'm in AZ and have run them in the garage for years. I easily get those temps. I did add a fan to the side of the power supplies. And don't use PLA if its very hot.

Thank you Allen. Great to know that. I was thinking to install a mini split in the garage because the manuals showing it's operating temps to be between 64-100 Fahrenheit. Really appreciate your reply.
