My filamen ends in 78% of printing and I did not have a new coil to continue in a moment

I apologize in advance for my English

Situation:

I print. Filament is over. The printer asks: get up the new filament. There is no filament. He will come tomorrow. There are no options to pause in this mode. Keeping it for a day in standby mode is also not an option (you know why). One option remains - turn off. I Turnd it off and waiting for the filament. When filamrnt come - I turn on. He throws a standard notification: "The print was stopped by power problrm and such things..." and give me one option: press the "Continue" button. I press the "Continue" button and he continues to print as if there is a filament in it (but it not). I press the "pause" button and go to the settings. The function "change the filament" is dead. All that remains for me in sthis situation is to stop and throw away everything that was printed in the trash and start a new one (which I did, because the work does not wait). Question: Is there an option to preserve the progress of the print with such situations, and if so, how?

RE:

I enjoyed reading your version, and unfortunately, I'm not able to help you, but there's a clearer version for others 🙂

I was printing when the filament ran out. The printer prompted me to load new filament, but I didn't have any. The new filament was arriving the next day. Unfortunately, there was no option to pause the print in this mode, and leaving the printer in standby for a day wasn't an option (for reasons you know). The only choice I had was to turn off the printer and wait.

When the filament arrived the next day, I turned the printer back on. It gave me a standard notification: "The print was stopped due to a power issue," and only offered one option: press "Continue." I pressed it, but the printer resumed as if there was filament loaded, which there wasn't. I pressed "Pause" and went into the settings, but the "Change Filament" function was disabled.

At that point, my only option was to stop the print entirely, throw away the progress, and start a new print (which I did because work couldn't wait).

My question is: Is there a way to preserve the progress of the print in situations like this, and if so, how?
