MK4 UI issue: "Print" screen causes stuck UI and unresponsive web interface

I built an MK4 from a kit about a week ago and have printed about 20 models with it. So far, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the hardware and the resulting prints. However, the firmware and web interface definitely need some help. I have noticed about six serious bugs so far, and I am creating one thread for each of them to start a discussion.

Issue: "Print" screen causes stuck UI and unresponsive web interface

The MK4 often gets stuck on the "Print" screen. The UI is responsive - it actively scrolls the filename, and rotating the dial causes it to change the focus between the two displayed options ("Print" and "Return," I think). However, the UI does not respond to selecting either option. The printer remains on this screen until it is reset. Also, during this time, the printer becomes unresponsive to the web interface - all page requests result in a timeout.

This issue often occurs after uploading a file via the web interface: the printer automatically loads it and switches to the "Print" screen for confirmation, but then gets stuck there.

Frequency: I have observed this behavior 5-6 times over the last 10 days or so since I built the printer.

Software environment: The MK4 is running the latest firmware (4.7.0).

It is wild how similar our issues are and funny that you've posted so recently. I built my kit around three weeks ago and have printed around 20 models as well. Also very pleased but for the first time this evening I ran into this issue.

I am going to just power off the printer and restart my browser / likely my computer as well. I have had both on / in sleep mode basically since I've built it. If I start running into this issue more consistently I will try to come back here and document it. My error happened like you said after uploading a print file and going to start it.
