MK4 Steps/mm Correction

On my MK3S+'s I would add g code at the beginning saved as part of the filament profile that would alter the steps per mm slightly to compensate for shrinkage with PETG.  This worked rather well and helped me interchange parts from different printers as they were all calibrated to the same standard.

I now have an MK4 and since pronterface is no longer a thing I don't know what the factory steps/mm are to make a correction in the g-code.  I originally contacted customer service and they said 400.  I tried this and the x axis crashed into the other side as soon as it started printing, so 400 is not correct.

Anyone have an idea?

I do it this way because I don't want to have to alter every part I print with scaling the model.  It would be nice if Prusa Slicer had scaling factor as part of the filament profile, but they don't.  Altering the steps per mm in the gcode has worked well for the MK3's and I am trying to duplicate it here.

I was told by CS that it was not compatible with the MK4.

So I played with it some more and 100 seems to work.  So even though the stepper motors are .9 instead of 1.8 degrees the steps/mm are the same.  There must be some magic being worked in the background because from what I can tell it uses the same belt and pulleys as the mk3.

maybe the microsteps value is changed to compensate!
