MK4 Power Panic lead

I need to place my PSU outside an enclosure.  Extending the power leads is simple.  Not sure if the one black wire for power panic is just a simple single black wire or if it's a cable.  Simple if it's a single wire to cut and splice; hope that's it.  Thanks

RE: MK4 Power Panic lead

Mine was a single wire, but the assembly instructions say that some units have two wires (I’m assuming they moved to two for physical rather than electrical reasons.) Either way, it should be easy.

FWIW, I disconnected power panic on my Mk3s because it falsely detected outages when powered from my UPS. I’m not sure how important it is unless you need the power recovery feature.

Thanks for the info.  Looks like a single wire, but I didn't want a rude surprise when I cut it.

If it looks like a single wire, it is.

My MK4 has a dual-wire power panic, which is a white wire and a black wire twisted together, but easily identifiable as two wires.

Thanks, I'm guessing the heavy ground wire serves as the second wire.
