MK4 mechanical cracking
Hi,
my Prusa MK4 prints well. But sometimes it has a mechanical cracking. I checked everything twice and have experience. I built some Prusa MK3s with mods, Voron and other. But I cannot find the reason for the mechanical cracking.

I've had a similar noise when there has been a problem in the filament feed such as a kink that makes it harder to move through the PTFE tube or a tangle on the spool.

The MK4 was assembled from prusa and I checked everything. I also have no underextrusion so from this part of view everything works well.

I thought that was normal sound . I have similar issue.
Btw, do you try to lubricate the bearing?
Because my mini sound like this also.

The noise occurs when perimeters are being printed. I didn't hear anything during travel or fill. The perimeters are typically high flow rate. Check the filament spool you might just be hearing it unspool. It's unlikely to be teeth slipping - the nextruder gear is huge - but you can try lowing the maximum volumetric speed in the slicer. Use the following table to see the default values for each material type. Choose a value 50% of the maximum for your material. Also double-check you're slicing with the right material selected.

Hi,
as I wrote I checked everything and this issue has nothing to do with lubricating bearings. That would mean that you hear it always. But it depends on the print. But I have not been discovering when.

I will give it a try. But I am using slow printing for quality and standard values of the slicer so normally this could not be the reason.
