Heatsink fan failure - Hotend fan failure

Just unboxed fully assembled MK4 and get Hotend - heatsink fan failure.
Fails during self test
Fails via Control > Diagnostics > Fan Test where Hotend fan hits 6582 rpm
Updated firmware to 5.0.1 - that did not fix it.

Please advise

RE:

I also just received a factory-assembled MK4, and the hot-end fan RPM fails during the Self-test. Not helped by trying firmware 5.0.1 or 5.1.0-alpha2, nor by loosening the fan's mounting screws. However, apart from this error the printer is working fine, and test prints are coming out well. Really happy about its performance compared to my MK3. My plan for now is to use it normally, and keep an eye out for firmware upgrades.

Check that nothing is slowing the fan - it's too soon for dust buildup but even a hair wound around the spindle can be enough to throw it off.

Cheerio,

One other note. Running Control > Diagnostics > Fan Test, everything is shown as good. In this case, guessing it's a firmware issue?
