So I updated my printer to latest firmware 4.6.1
After this i get red screen every time i turn on the printer. I push the reset button an printer starts up fine. Anybody else noticing this?

Same Probleme MK4 4.6.1
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
I've been getting that message about 50-60% of the time when powering on after updating to 4.6.1. I've had a couple of online chats with the support team at Prusa and it seems like their devs are working on it and they told me they would be back in touch next week.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
Got my Mk4 today, and updated the firmware to 4.6.2 and have this error come up on boot maybe about half the time.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
Same here... message comes around about 30% of the time for me.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
Same problem, MK4. Red screen with I2C error every other boot.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
Anyone put this up as a bug on github?

Received the MK4 yesterday, initial prints were good, turned on today morning and got the HAL I2C error. Did a reset and everything was back to normal.
Did anybody get more information about this from support? Looks like more of a hardware issue than firmware.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
After two or three successful prints I am seeing HAL I2C error also. Reboot sometimes clears it.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
It says on the prusa troubleshooting page that: "...the I2C bus is used for the xBuddy board to communicate with other printer components. If there is an error in sending data from the xBuddy board, the printer will show the message: "HAL detected an I2C error when sending data via I2C."" That to me sounds like a wire is loose or a bad connection. Try resetting the cables and see what happens; start with the breakout board on the toolhead since that's the easiest.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
I powered up my new MK4 printer today for the first time, which had 4.6.2 firmware installed, and it gave this error initially too, so if it is a connectivity issue, it was there from the get go.
RE: HAL I2C error after power on, RED screen
The HAL I2C error is a known bug in the firmware 4.6.2 + 4.6.4. You have to restart the printer with power on as workearound until they will fix it.
