Firmware upgrade not happening
I'm trying to upgrade my firmware, It's currently running 6.0.2+. and I'm trying to upgrade to 6.2.4. I download the .bbf file. It's not even a .zip. I've reformatted the USB drive using FAT and Extended FAT (MacOS). Copy the file to it, eject it. Insert into the printer and press reset. It never offers me the chance to flash the ROM[sic].
Not sure what else I should be trying.

I think the stick needs to be FAT32.
But you can flash it from Connect directly, or copy the file over in PrusaLink and restart the printer

Or you can do it from Connect or copy the file over using Link

"MS-DOS (FAT)" is apparently FAT32 on MacOS. My printer is not connected to Connect, and attempts to change that fail with a TLS error (which docs suggest means an NTP problem that I can't find a reason for).

Sorry about multiple posts, kept getting 504 error which implied it had not posted
RE: Firmware upgrade not happening
If you put a gcode (or bgcode) from PrusaSlicer on your thumb drive, does the printer see it? (Trouble shooting to see if the issue is with the printer recognizing the thumb drive or just the .bbf file. The .bbf file is what the printer's firmware should be expecting for a firmware upgrade.)

Firmware 6.1.2 brought a new boot loader, maybe need to install 6.1.2 before jumping to 6.2.4?

It turns out, no. I reformatted with a linux system and it worked. Thanks. Not sure what's up with MacOS, because it's been interoperating with MS crap for years.
