Filament will not unload from Nextruder

This is what's happening

I can not unload the filament even though loading the filament is fine. I am using the mk4 with the mmu3 but I removed the tube and snipped the filament so I could get the rest of it out from the mmu3. The video (The "This is what's happening" link) and image above might help with figuring this out.

Btw I put this in the mk4 category because it does not relate specifically to the mmu3.

Well, this sort of thing happens often to me if when I use a carbon fiber filament with a 0.4 nozzle.  I don't seem to happen with a 0.6 nozzle.  In my case the jam is in the heat break (area where the nozzle guide tube narrows before going into the heat block.

Removing the jammed filament is a chore requiring removal of the nozzle and application of heat in the area of the heat break.

I was using generic PLA. Very random brand too. But I will try.

RE:

Not got a MK4, but, have you double checked the temperature of the hotend is correct for the filament you're using.  If so you could try raising it 10 degrees C and see if that helps unstick it?

The other thing is, has the gears worn down the filament so much it can't grip it any more?

Failing that it sounds like the best course of action is to disassemble the Nextruder carefully and see just where it is stuck and what could be causing it.

Finally got the time to take apart the extruder and I found the filament got bent into the gear itself. This happened previously too. What should I do to not make it do this again?
