End of Print signal
Simple question, I looking to see if that it is possible from the buddy board to have a hardware signal that a printer has finished printing and that the bed is cool to be able to retrieve parts or is out of filament . The new software and Prusa Connect is great, but I am thinking a the farm level. Simply an digital signal that indicate status of the machine. It can even be a serial message or a couple of digital signals i.e. 00 printer idle, 01 printer printing, 10 printer finished and bed is cool down parts on bed, and 11 out of filament. I was at a friends farm and he comment that it would be nice to have a light than checking each machine. I could create the device with a simple Nano v3 and RGB LEDs. This would be useful for those looking for using one of the automatic part removers. That may expand the request of adding an input that says start next print.
Expansion of idea
Since I2C is used on the buddy board already, have a simple table, containing a GCODE, a I2C address, and a message. Maybe allow up to 8 or 16 of these custom GCODEs. These would be fire and forget codes. More complex would be to accept messages from external I2C devices, but that is really outside the scope of my request.
