Cable paths into buddy box

I can’t say I’m happy with the way my cables going into the buddy box are arranged and going under the rails next to the rubber foot. It looks a complete mess and I’m sorely tempted this morning to redo the whole thing and get it right. Has anyone else experienced this problem of getting so many cables under that last rail into the bottom of the buddy box? Any elegant solutions?

Best Answer by Walter Layher:

Squash ball mods are a possibility. They do not only make the printer more silent, they also lift the frame up by about 20 mm. More space under the frame.

Not sure if this helps, but here’s a pic of my cables on my MK4 build, before I re-did them for the enclosure.

I had another go at it yesterday and I’m happier with how the cables go under that last rail, near the rubber foot, close to the buddy box. As someone else replied, 20mm higher would help a lot.
