brim not turning off
Using the Prusa slicing software it's failing (despite unticking the box) to slice without adding a brim. Is there another setting somewhere that might be over-riding this?

No, but if you upload your 3mf project file, which will contain all your settings, we can check what's going on. Load a model, save it as a 3mf project file, zip compress it (or the forum software won't upload it), then attach it as a file to a post here.
Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...
