Better intro GCode for oozing/nozzle blob?
Has anybody made a better intro GCode to reduce the oozing and nozzle blob? The nozzle clean line doubling back on itself just looks to me like a bad solution, and it seems to me a little more retraction after cleaning would be a good idea. I haven't had time to experiment with this yet, wondering if anyone else has. I pretty regularly get blobs stuck to the nozzle that drop randomly on the print and sometimes cause a layer shift. I print mostly PETG and some ASA and PLA.

The doubling back on the purge line seems to be very effective catching any nozzle debris in my experience. Are you clearing your nozzle at the start of the print or letting it go with a big string of filament hanging from the nozzle?

Agree - it basically acts as a sudo-wiper. It's not going to fix oozing, but that to me is still a wholly different issue than the purge line placement and overall start gcode.
