Any possibility to separate the MK4's touchscreen display and steering knob from the rest of the unit?
I would love the possibility to put the MK4's touchscreen and steering knob to a different room (100 meters away from the printer itself). Is there any possibility to do this?

How would you do a filament change on the printer with this configuration? How long are your arms? 🙂
I don't think the ribbon cable that is used to connect the display would work over such a distance.
What do you want to achieve that is not possible with any of the remote solutions that already exist?
You might be able to do all you want via network and Connect; moving the control panel itself by more than a few centimetres will make the printer unuseable as @walter-layher writes above.
I am coming to think that even the network connections are a mistake for hobby & single-printer users (whilst being useful for printer farms) and that Prusa should never have listened to demands ...
Too many people house the machine in a distant, cold, outbuilding or basement and operate it remotely - we have a whole class of complaints from users who expect it to work seamlessly with filament loaded yesterday and no manual intervention. Proper filament handling requires the user to be present immediately before and after each print so carrying the file on removeable media isn't an extra chore.
