A suggestion for the filament menu

Hello!

I don't know if I'm in the right place? Since I use a Mk4 and it a firmware related topic, so I thought this was the right place. If this is not the right place, you can close this topic.

I have a suggestion for the Prusa team.

Would it be possible to implement, that after the filament unloading procedure is done, the cooldown function is automatically triggered or add the cooldown option in the filament menu?

This is because after each time filament unloading is done, you have to go to the control menu then temperature and then cooldown. It seems to me that it would be more efficient if cooldown was automatically triggered after filament unloading procedure. Since I believe that when we use this function it is not to change to a new filament, but it is to store the filament and to close the printer after finishing a job (I don't like to let filament rest for a long period of time outside a bag when not use) or for possible maintenance.

Thank you for your attention and time!

Agreed. Please add it as an option. It should be added to the filament loading as well.

this would probably be best requested in the prusa slicer github, as it could be applicable to all FDM printers,

Ya but it's not related to a slicer function. It's more an implent for the firmware of the MK4. I follow your suggestion and I posted an issue in the Prusa-Firmare-buddy github.

Thanks for your advise Joan!
