Wont recognise files on USB

Hi, wondering if anyone can assist.

Mk4 kit build, 2 weeks old. the only way I can load files to print is via Prusa link. If I load files onto the usb stick, the mk4 wont recognise the files. They dont even show up on the printer. Ive tried a different usb stick and still no joy. has anyone else had a similar issue. Usb's are formatted to FAT32.

Thanks. Jay

RE: Wont recognise files on USB

Have you ever had any USB stick work on the printer??

If not, check for any bent pins etc. The USB supplied with the printer fits way too tight into the port, and there are reports of users bending the pins, which will render the port useless if not straightened, or replaced.

It also could be …Update your firmware on the printer. The latest slicer uses binary code, older firmware cannot read, it will not show in the print list from  the usb . but prusa link can see it,

you can also uncheck binary g code when slicing, then you’ll see your file on the usb.
