I also preordered a 5 extruder xl on day one lol.  So hopefully may and june will be like christmas lol

If I don't manage to order the MK4 kit fast enough to get it without lead time, I will turn my XL preorder into a MK4 kit order. I'm impatient and my XL preorder was made so late (just this year) that I don't really lose anything by converting it. I will probably preorder again in a few days just to get into the queue again and will decide what to do with it next year (as I doubt my turn will come sooner).

I kind of figure it'll get here when it gets here lol.   I'm ok waiting longer to work out any bugs.

yeah I probably will do the mmu3 upgrade kit since it's 89 bucks,  if it ends up not being worth it, I can always just unbolt it and convert the printer back to stock MK4

For now, I'm going to keep the MK3S/MMU2 as is.

For what I do, I don't think there would be much of an advantage to either buy a new MK4 or do the upgrade to MK3.9999999999...

Ain't broke, don't fix it.  Plus I do have a second (non Prusa) printer.

I switched my order. It was delivered today and I already love it. When the MMU3 comes out I plan to get that, too. I currently had an MK3S+ with MMU2S.

Changed XL order to MK4. Was primarily interested in the Nextruder and multi-color printing. Didn't need the huge build volume. Hoping the MMU3 will solve the reliability issues of the MMU2S. If they hadn't announced a new MMU unit, I likely would have kept my XL order.
