Vertical space required for MK4 plus MMU3?

As something to do while waiting on my MK4 kit, I'm contemplating building an enclosure, but one important element of that would depend on the amount of space from the bottom of the enclosure where the MK4 sits to the top where the PTFE tube from the MMU3 runs to the nextruder. Anyone know the actual dimension there? I see the blog post about the IKEA LACK MMU compatible enclosure cuts out some of the table to make room for the tube, so that's a hint I guess, but it would be nice to know the actual dimension.

I don't, and Prusa hasn't started shipping MMU3's yet, so I'm not sure anyone does for sure. But I suspect it's similar to previous MMU's, which fit in the Original Prusa Enclosure, which I have, and which has 21" of interior vertical distance.

P.S. I really hesitated to get the Prusa Enclosure. I was like "but it's so expensive!" Those thoughts immediately vanished once I started putting it together. It's difficult to imagine a higher quality enclosure than this one.

P.P.S. You can still add it to your order. That's what I did. It's $290 when ordered as a bundle with the MK4 kit, or $350 otherwise. Shipping cost on my MK4 kit went from $77 to $119 (DHL to midwest USA), so by buying it as a bundle the total effective cost was $331 ($290 + $41 added shipping cost). Buying separate would be $429 ($350 + $79 shipping). That said, the enclosure page says leadtime of two weeks, so if your printer is due to ship any day, adding it may slow down your order.

Thanks for that! I ordered the MK4 kit on 4/12/23 and I don't think the bundle was available at the time. Your post helped me make the decision to pull the trigger on the enclosure bundle. I'm not worried about it adding a bit more time, if that's what happens.

Now the question is whether to go for the MMU3 preorder for the Mk4.... I wish they offered bundle pricing for that.

If you are in the USA,
I Believe there is a $1000 threshold for imports, after that you may get hit with import taxes  and courier charges.
I have heard that it is more cost effective to pay more shipping, and less import tax, in the long run...

but... I am a British outcast from Europe, so what would I know about sensible decisions. Lol.
