Nope.  They have done that and it is unlikely to start now.

I ordered April 3 and I have not had an email. Hopefully I'll have some solid news by the end of this week.

I have updated the google doc list and put the yellow mark on last order from first batch (April 12th until 5.30 pm (CET)) that will be send From week 24 starts June 12th to June 18th.

All orders after the yellow mark will be shipped after June 19th

If everything goes according to plan in Prusa.

I ordered a MK3S+ about a year ago and then cancelled when I found a lightly used one locally. Prusa had already shipped but they were able to recall it from DHL before it left the airport. I got a 100% refund - no hassles, no problems, no lawyers - cash back in a day or two. 

My take on all of this is they are a reputable company just a little disorganized communicating with customers. I would have liked to see the list of shipping windows about a month ago. After putting 250 hours on the MK3 I would not consider any other brand. Before the MK3 I wore out 2 Monoprice printers which were a constant stream of problems and poor prints.

Something amazing happened. I came across the shipping page which was updated for MK4 explicitly; WOW!! Now I do not have any complaints.

I looked at all the reviews of the mk4 printer and it is a printer behind the times. Old model. Others have improved a lot, but the software is good, I praise it.

What is this reference to "week 24"? We haven't been waiting for 24 weeks (kit or assembled), and from Jan 1st to End of March is 12 weeks. I don't understand.

Although I agree with some of what you said. I don’t agree that is is an old model.  It may not have all the bells and whistles is some new printers, but it is a step forward and still open source.

@vipu Microsoft and Apple do not take full advance and keep the customers in the dark for months, and they charge money for confirmed orders which ship by the date committed. Same applies to biggest launch events such as Playstation/XBOX/iPhone etc.

Prusa is not that big a company, I even won't put them in a mid-sized category. Even though taking 100% advance for a product that won't ship for months indicates a lack of professionalism in that organization, at least they can keep the customers informed about what is going on. Fans like me won't mind the delay as long as they see a nice shipping table (very late in the game) or periodic status email.

Please do not tell me that they do not have the resources to do that. Given the ERP system (whatever they are using), it just takes a couple of man-hours a week to send a bulk notification to customers waiting for their orders to be fulfilled.

Thanks to Prusa for sending out an email on the delays on all the kits and printers. And even acknowledging that they were late on a few. Let’s hope this schedule sticks. Good to see them communicating.

Amen to that; I hope they keep continuing this in the future. It is not so hard, nor does it consume significant time by any individual.

For the record: My order (assembled MK4) from 31.3.2023 has shipped on 25.5.2023 and i recieved it in Austria on 27.5.2023.

So far (stock 4.6.2 firmware), it prints very nice - it is not as quiet as i thought it would be and it still does that little "resonance rattling" on the first line (only in left direction) a few people on reddit complained about. WiFi seems really a bit faster than the first videos, although i only printed some small models now.

What bothers me a bit more, is the nozzle hitting the bed on first Z-check - it really does leave some small marks on the bed.

So hang on folks, they are really working hard to ship all printers!

i'm not sure if my order status is stuck or something..
i placed my order for the kit on 4th april (after 5pm)
but when i look at my order, it's status says 'New', even though i placed it around 7 weeks ago.

can anyone who is still waiting check their order status and and see what it says?
i'm worried i might end up at the back of the que.

Ordered my assembled mk4 on the 4th April before 5pm still Order New,

Going by the updateded shipping list I'd think it will be next week at the earliest for me.

I don't think they are shipping the kits yet anyway, might be wrong?
