Same here.  Don't get me wrong, the Bambus are good printers.  They are just not as great as I thought they would be.

I own a lot of printers.  I have mostly Prusas, but I also have Anycubics, Bambus, Crealitys, and a BIQU.  I plan to buy a SeeMeCNC, FLSUN, and Trilab eventually.  Delta printers fill a special need for my customers, Prusas do the bulk of my printing.

Back to waiting for the MK4 kit it is then! lol

To be honest, with all this waiting I've actually been looking at videos of the BambuLab X1 again, with the AMS.......

I have 3 of them (2 X1s and 1 P1P).  They are good, but they are overhyped.  If I up the speed, the quality and strength of the print drop.

RE: Shipping Date List

For me it's been 6 weeks plus (45 days from my order on 4-Apr-23).

On here people who ordered on 30-Apr have received their shipping notices in the last couple of days.  I hope mine is coming in the next few days.

I don't know about orders taken today but it seems like Prusa is running about 7 or more weeks behind on orders from late March and early April.

Prusa is officially late by two weeks, so expect 8 weeks from your order date, I would put it in 1st week of June.

RE: Shipping Date List

Any recent shipping confirmation, anyone? Who bought the assembled unit during the first week of launch?

RE: Shipping Date List

I ordered mine on 4-April.  Today is day 49 since the order and as of noon Chicago time I am still in "New" status rather than "In Process".

I'm getting a little antsy but trying to be patient 😁.

Hello, I also find it a bit of a shame that you don't get a forecast for so much money. I wrote to the support yesterday and asked to get an eta. I have ordered 2023-04-05 Here is the answer:

Hello,

Here is the recent update from Josef about the MK4 https://twitter.com/josefprusa/status/1658599305861799936?s=20

Based on when this order was created and the current situation, the estimate, which can change, is the first half of June.

Best regards

Same for me 4th April 2.16pm BST, Order status:New, I added a enclosure 2 weeks  ago after being assured by Chat support that doing so wouldn't change my place in the queue. I ended up with the same Order No. anyways..

I didn’t realize how much stuff I had on back order. I’ve got over $2000 worth of stuff that I have no idea when the heck I’ll actually get it. I’ve given up even trying to figure it out. I think I’m pretty well done with Prusa after this, their communications suck, their fulfillment sucks. I should be set up with enough printers that I don’t have to screw around anymore. Prusa you broke my heart. Should change their name to Ponzi printers.

You could request a refund if you are that broken hearted.

The only time I have seen adding thing to the card to effect my shipping time is when the item I ordered goes out of stock.

I would not call them a Ponzi scheme.  And as I've said before I would rather wait a few extra weeks and get a printer with all of the design and production kinks worked out.  Rather than have to return a defective printer.

Prusa's customer support is one of the best in the industry, available 24 hours a day no matter where in the world you live.

I have requested that they modify their website to list the number of orders ahead instead of just New.  But that requires a change to the website and my not be their highest priority right now.

RE: Shipping Date List

There order number scheme is flawed; instead of dumping the epoch seconds as the order number, they should give out a sequence with product code as order number, such as MK40000001... you get the picture. With that numbering scheme, we can figure out the rest in user forums, not even needing to waste time chatting with the support guys, from whom I never got any concrete or correct information ever.

Anyway, that is me venting my frustration, but still waiting eagerly to get my MK4, my experience with the MK3S+ was exceptional.

RE: Shipping Date List

Same here. I ordered 3 April about 9:00am US eastern time. There date time stamp order number has it around 11 pm on 3 April. I chatted with Prusa about midday today. They estimated shipping with a term I did not understand like "week following". I guess that means not this week anyway. I am getting discouraged as I start my 8th week of waiting for this thing. I sure hope it is worth the aggravated wait and $$$.

RE: Shipping Date List

My order for a fully assembled MK4 printer was placed on March 31.  I too am still waiting.  I chatted with Prusa support yesterday and was told additional delays were caused due to "national holidays" in the Czeck Republic.  I was told that they will "try" to ship my order by the end of this month, nothing guaranteed of course.  Patience is a virtue and the best things in life are supposed to be worth waiting for.  Judging by my previous experiences with Prusa, the MK4 should be well worth the wait too!

I am hoping that the slicer improvements will be available soon also so that I can take full advantage of the MK4 over the MK3S+.

RE: Shipping Date List

I have a sneaking suspicion that the speed advantages are never going to pan out as cleaned. Too much variation machine, the machine, especially on the kit built ones.  We’ll see.

we can come up with all kinds of systems for them to use to show how far we are down in the queue for orders, or they could just ship crap when they sell it. Frankly, at this time I think they OS on the order page some kind of anticipated shipping date. I don’t have time to go through all these Damn forums and tables and charts. I’m not a damn astrologer. Send me the crap I paid for.

Prime example of being schlubbed (a feeling that a great injustice has been dealt against you, when in reality it is trivial at best)

RE:

I wouldn't call it trivial when Input Shaper was marketed as one of the big features of the MK4, showing off its benchy printing speed, and so on. Don't get me wrong, I would rather the quality and reliability over speed, but they did focus on Input Shaper a fair bit so I would expect them to reliably deliver, whether I choose to use it or not.

RE: Shipping Date List

I got my MK4 on the 22th of may after ordering on the 30th of march. I yesterday made the first test prints. And the printer works nice. The print quality is fine. the first layer is great. So it prints better thean my MK3. So it works out of the box like it should. So don't bother that the "fast mode" is not included.
I had one of the first prusa minis. And the unit was not so good out of the box. had to change some parts. So i think the MK4 is better tested. And i think they should release the faster firmware when it's ready. No one want to support features that arn't ready while running up produktion.
I hope you all get your ordered printer fast. So you can have as much fun with it.
