Got the shipping date estimation yet?
RE: Shipping Date List
I ordered two minutes after the available email came in, hope I will be in the first batch. 😊
The issue is that it was live on the website an hour before the emails went out (12:20ET or so). I ordered with in 10 min (got the confirmation email) and I’m about 5000 from the lower numbers…. Which is a little over an hour from the lowest one… I asked today and Prusa said that they have no idea when they’ll ship. No indication of when they would start, no idea of the pace, and no guess as to when I’d see mine. So Prusa back to being Prusa.

My time slot was:

I reached out to support earlier this week out of curiosity and had a great chat with someone who has been messing around with the input shaper and testing the printers. I was told in the next 2-3 weeks they expect to start shipping the kits. However, there is no hard date yet but the "goal" is before the end of May. With a TM soon on the input shaper.
I asked about my place and if it fell reasonably within the first shipments and they responded with this: "You ordered about 10 minutes after it was released, so you should definitely be in the very first wave of shipments!"
RE: Shipping Date List
They are ramping up production on a new item with a majority of new parts and possibly even new vendors. Cut them a little slack. They are known for the most reliable 3D printers on the market for less than half the price of the equivalent competition.
I would rather wait an extra 3 or 4 weeks for my printer and have all the kinks worked out than get a defective printer or one that fails.
All I ask is that they update the website to indicate how many orders are in front of me in the order status page. Seeing progress, no matter how slow is better than not knowing what the progress is. This is not even a projected ship date but just the number of units to be made before mine is manufactured. Plus or minus 10 or 20 units is still better than nothing.

RE: Shipping Date List
wow I ordered mine 30th March 8.13am but haven't heard anything further.
RE: Shipping Date List
Same. I ordered mine on the 30th of March and support told me just a couple days ago that it will be one or two more weeks until it ships. Which I'm okay with if most of the kinks/issues are worked out.
RE: Shipping Date List
I ordered mine on 30th of March also. Now they say 5 to 6 weeks to deliver. But i havn't got any news. In the moment it would be cool to get the MK4 since i have to do some more print jobs. But my MK3 is working fine. So it hast to earn the money for the MK4.
RE:
Same here, ordered the prebuilt one on March 30, no word yet on when it'll be shipped, no information on the order details as instructed.
I'm eager now 🙂
RE: Shipping Date List
I placed order on upgrade MK4 on 4/3 - I wonder if I'm on first 100 order?? 😬
RE: Shipping Date List
That's good new because I ordered my on 4-Apr just a few days later so hopefully mine will be on the way soon.
Now if only Prusa would start taking orders for the MMU3.
RE: Shipping Date List
If it is to any benefit to anyone that has ordered....
I ordered just the prebuilt printer, nothing extra on 3/29 at about 9:35 p.m. CST and I received notification of shipment this morning.
Oh boy, it took them almost 6+weeks just to fill orders put on one day. Now I am not feeling optimistic about my order placed on April 2nd.

Goody, nice to know shipping is continuing. My company order for the kit on the 13th April, changed to built+enclosure on 27th April... perhaps we might hear in the next two or three weeks? I'm guessing the vast bulk of orders will have been straight after each announcement.
RE: Shipping Date List
Any idea how many orders Prusa gets each day? From the posts here, it is very clear it is taking them 6+ weeks to clear the first-day orders.
The projection at this rate is not looking good.
RE: Shipping Date List
I believe that after the announcement and first couple of hundred in stock at that time were shipped Prusa was quoting a leat time of 6 to 7 weeks (at least when I ordered mine on 4-Apr). Now they are quoting a lead time of 5 to 6 weeks.
That leads me to believe that they are ramping up production and getting the production and quality kinks worked out.
Rather quickly actually. Some companies run months behind on order for the first 6 months to a year during the first year of production.
I believe that Prusa is committed to quality and customer support. I have no complaints so far having been a Prusa MK3 owner for 5 years.
All we need is the MMU3 and the slicer/firmware updates for organic supports and the higher speeds that the MK4 is capable of.

Prusa better catchup; the competition is getting better.
