Sorry wasn’t trying to fuel the flames of frustration. I knew that I wasn’t going the kit as first scheduled, it’s well documented. Additionally, they are probably sourcing things from multiple countries and likely shipping to 50+, and have to follow all the EU regulations. Maybe the industrial engineer in me is being too lenient.
That said I enjoyed seeing other post that their orders were in process, or had shipped with their order number. It was a nice way of counting down.

I had no status updates, and by the time there was a shipping date, it was here the in a couple of days - came in a couple days ago. Took 2 evenings to assemble, and printed perfectly the first time. I was a bit skeptical about the purchase and was perfectly happy with the MK3S, but this really is better in every way. Not a lot better, but better. First layer quality and overall print quality really nice. Glad I got it.

Mine arrived last Thursday. With a small baby at home the whole thing with the assembly but probably drags a bit 😅
Despite my, from my point of view, reasonably good craftsmanship, I'm scared to death that after the assembly nothing works 😅 it was you too? Let's see...

After a very long wait i saw a change to my status, from New to Shipped! order 168167XXX (ordered April 16th) so according to planned shipping this was to start going out this week and it has. I have my tracking number to check and add regular updates to be sent to me by the DHL courier. I also added a textured sheet, a nextruder adapter and silicone socks which SHOULD all fit into the one box, fingers crossed.
I'll keep you updated with how the shipment went and arrived.

You're right it is a long wait and it was painfull to see the posts here as people started to get theirs. I ordered the Kit and then added some extra stuff but the date did not change. I looks like the order has left Prusa and making it's way to me and I have an update delivery of Thursday 10 Aug (By the End of Day) notification

Hi Iftibashir, Can you confirm what you paid in Tax/VAT as £144 means your order was over £1200, is that correct? The VAT should be 20% I thought you just got a kit and not a already made item. I just got a call for my tax to pay and its a hell of a lot less for my kit?
Just paid the tax - £144.
It seems you get invoiced when the item hits the UK and is processed at the Dartford depo. You'll receive a text and an email for payment at this point - a day or two before the actual delivery date. Weekend gets in the way for me so expecting delivery Monday now!
Upon delivery sometimes they ask you for the payment receipt before they hand you the package, otherwise you wont get it until you've paid.
I would be interested to know about tax and when you get charged, i.e before delivery or after?
Received a message from Fedex saying I have a parcel delivery on the 31st, although the Prusa status is still 'In Progress'......fingers crossed!
Still in progress - guess there is no shipping during the weekend so expect movement tomorrow - would have been nice to get it today considering its my birthday! Lol

I live in the UK and I bought the Mk4 kit, and three silicon socks. Total order £678.85 without VAT. I paid DHL £143.61 for VAT and customs duties.

That is a little high but an admin fee is common with duties.

Sounds about right - I guess they take the currency rate/exchange into account too, hence the minor differences.

the VAT by Prusa for the printer is the same BUT the import tax is less than £50 and I used DHL and NOT FedEx

There is no Duty due as the UK still has an agreement with the EU BUT your courier can charge you for dealing with HMRC, paying your VAT and sending you the bill. In the case of DHL I was charged an additional £11.00, so on my order for a Mk4 kit and 2 Spools of filament the VAT was £146.14 + a DHL charge of £11.00 for a total bill of £157.14.

Mine has shipped as of this morning. Still waiting for shipping details, but might have it by this weekend.
Anyone have any updates? My order 16816712xx is scheduled for shipping next week… maybe. Just wondering if they started to get into the orders from the 14th and 15th.
