Prusa’s shipping list says a 5:30 CET cutoff, not 5:30 CEST. Not that it matters exactly. But yes, a ton of orders after the email came out, which is why the 5:30-midnight timeframe has weeks of kit shipping.
A boatload of orders. My order was confirmed by email at 13:37 US central time, or 19:37 (7:37) CET. This was roughly speaking about two hours after I got the email saying the MK4 was available to buy. I didn’t see that email, I saw a notice from the Reddit app of a thread on r/prusa3d saying the MK4 kit was available to buy…
So anyhow, that means the 5:30 was roughly the time the email went out saying the kit was available to order, and the floodgates opened and orders would have started pouring in from people with in-stock alerts setup, like me.
The orders prior to 5:30? Josef Prusa announced on Twitter the MK4 was available for purchase earlier than the emails went out. So initial orders were people seeing the tweet/seeing someone share the tweet, which would not have the same effect, at least not as fast, as the in-stock emails would have.
I got my order in at 5:45 pm CEST (Summer time was active). One hour later I got the in-stock notification at 6:45 pm CEST. Thankfully I saw a Reddit post that preorders were active and got in early. So I'm guessing a huge amount of orders are from 6:45 PM forward.

I talked to their support and they told me my order was at 5:45PM so I would be in the second batch. When I put it into a time zone converter from my local time it comes out to 4:45PM CET and 5:45PM CEST.

Ha, doing the time conversion I get an order time of Apr 12 2023 22:19:16 (CEST).
Guess that puts me toward the end of the Apr 12th order window. That allows for more bugs to be worked out. 😀

I am a little annoyed that I ordered as soon as the email came out and had a confirmation within 10 minutes I think at 12:30 Eastern time. And I don’t see any shipment or even any change in the status of my order.
If you’re going to use the order system, based on time, why not use that to inform people on shipping times. Instead, we are all converting to central European time and trying to figure out if daylight savings should be applied or not. They should be able to put down an order number and if you’re higher than it or lower that’s the break.

Unfortunately, the email didn't come out right away.
The kits went live at 11 am EST. I didn't receive my email until after 12 EST.
I had order confirmation at 11:02 EST and my kit just arrived today.

If you’re going to use the order system, based on time, why not use that to inform people on shipping times. Instead, we are all converting to central European time and trying to figure out if daylight savings should be applied or not. They should be able to put down an order number and if you’re higher than it or lower that’s the break.

I understand, but you have been complaining for months. I am sure they are getting ready to ship your order. My order was right at about the same time as yours and it shipped this week. That excel document was not created by Prusa. The time indicated in the shipment is not CET, but CEST (summer time). They have it wrong. My order was at 18:19 CEST, so it should be 17:19 CET. But it isn't and I'm waiting for it to be processed.

They told me it will be shipped in first half od July.
Also they told me that there is couple hundreds order in front of me. But the exact number is unknown.

For example: 1681319139 is April 12, 2023 5:05:39 PM GMT (7:05:39 CET)

I was also expecting the changes im my order this week but i heard that Prusa has 1 week delay off schedule. That's why i contacted them.

My order, placed on April, 19th, for a pre-assembled orange MK4, finally changed order status to In progress today, and 2 shipping labels where generated (I can see that because the postal company alerted me about it).
I did order some more stuff than just the printer, so I would guess they can't fit all of it in 1 box.

My order number is 16679 and still has not shipped. I know everyone is complaining and rightfully so. This is a blatant misuse of customer trust. You come out with a product and generally sell out without having any kind of warehouse stock at all. Still, telling everyone they will get their printer by the end of May. That would be acceptable because before making our purchase, we know this information. What we didn't know is that prusa wasn't even close to ready to sell this printer. Never in my life have I had to wait an additional 6-8 weeks on top of the initial wait time. This is ridiculous! How anyone is ok with this just blows my mind. This release really wasn't a release. It was more of an afterthought. How can any company claim a product is ready for release while it was hardly even done. Still, the firmware does not include shaping. I'm just fed up with this situation and I apologize to my fellow customers.
