Sequential printing problem
A few weeks ago I started my first sequential printing with success. Now I will try again and I get always the message, that some objects are two high and could do a collision with the extruder. But this was not before and makes no sense for me, because the objects are not to high. I tried even 5 mm highness and the same message comes. I don't remember that I changed the standard configuration.
Could this be a problem after I have update the PrusaSlicer, which I do regularly?
RE: Sequential printing problem
simple solution. Go to PRINT SETTINGS > OUTPUT OPTIONS and change the EXTRUDER CLEARANCE 2nd option to a higher value.. so set HEIGHT to.. say.. 100mm. If you ensure that you sequence the parts properly, you can go as high as you want.. That is.. (looking at the front of the printer) print first object in front, right.. moving each print object to the left.. then go to the back, start at the right and move to the left.. (the left/right.. not really important.. but the front back is). If you print something tall on the back, and the next object is in the front, then the rods that the nozzle travel on will hit the part.. If you always print from front to back, you are fine..
