Prusalink app needed
There is no way to check the printer progress using Prusalink when outside your home network, I guess you need a VPN connection?
This could probably be easily fixed with a Prusalink app for your phone I suppose?
Any thoughts on this?

PrusaLink is only for access on your local network. PrusaConnect is the cloudservice you can access outside your home, you need to set that up. There is also a lot more information and control through PrusaConnect, PrusaLink is a bit limited in comparison.
Having said that, an official app would be great to see 🙂 But I'm sure Prusa's software team has more important things to take care of right now.

You should be able to do this with a WireGuard VPN. You need a WireGuard server in your LAN. Some routers like FritzBoxes do offer this option currently, otherwise you can install this on computer that is always on in your LAN, like a Raspberry Pi, a NAS etc. Then you need a WireGuard client app on your mobile device that establishes a connection via outside internet (mobile internet, some WiFi hotspot) into your LAN. Then you can access PrusaLink via your browser just like in your home LAN. WireGuard is very easy to install, clients are linked to the server via QR code. Install instructions for a Raspberry Pi see here.
