Is it possible to print your own MK4, and just buy the non-printed hardware as a kit?

The printed parts are included in the kit.
But the parts are also published and you can print them to your liking, too.

Not that I would know. If you own already an Mk3 you can buy the full Upgrade though, it comes without printed parts. However, given that even this costs already almost as much as the full kit the question is if it makes sense financially.
It would be nice for Prusa to offer a kit version without printable parts for a few Euros less though. If one wants to print the parts in something other than PETG than the included printed parts are pointless after all. I guess there is not enough demand for that though.
