Impressed by satin sheet and PETG
Just finished my first fairly long print in PETG on the satin sheet (3+ hours - the bottom half of an electronics enclosure box). Almost no stringing (unlike my DIY printer), and the satin sheet doesn't even need to be removed to flex it to get the print off, it just comes loose by itself after cooling to room temp.

Satin sheet is awesome. Only one I am using now.

Nice! It is the same with the textured sheet by the way: Just let it cool down first...

This may answer my question... because my PTEG prints are welding themselves to the standard sheet you get with the MK4 and a really difficult to remove. Can I ask what print bed and nozzle temps you are using? The defaults don't correspond to the box recommendations so I'm trying to modify those on my next print...

The standard sheet is really only useful with PLA - when you use that for PETG, you'll at the very least need glue AFAIK. The satin sheet produces excellent results with PETG for me, both Prusament and Amazon Basics. I use the default Prusament PETG profile for both of these in PrusaSlicer and I've not had any kind of trouble yet.

I'm having adhesion and warping issues with the Satin sheet, so I am using the standard PEI sheet as well for my PETG prints. I spray a little Windex on the sheet and wipe it down before printing, then the PETG part sticks well (even after cooling) but not so much that you risk damaging your PEI sheet when removing the part.

My issue isn't that it doesn't stick... my issue is that it sticks too well....

The glue stick or glue-spray helps with that actual problem. It makes sure that the print doesn't stick too well on the PEI sheet.
When using Textured or Satin sheet you don't need it though.

I just used the "generic PETG" profile that was in PrusaSlicer. I'm using Hatchbox PETG.

I've been printing PETG on the stock smooth sheet for a couple weeks, random parts both big and small, and I've had excellent results with windex. It cleans fingerprints off, and must leave an invisible residue that keeps the PETG from over-bonding. They stick a bit more than PLA, but release with bending a few times in each direction. I've marked my built plate "PLA" on one side and use only Isopropyl alcohol on that side. The other side is marked "PETG" and I clean/prep that side with only windex. *I never spray the sheet in place. It's best to spray a rag (a safe distance away from the printer) and then use the rag to clean the surface.
I trust the satin and textured sheets are great too, but definitely not a requirement unless you really want the texture on your prints.

I always use Satin sheet with my MK4. All-in-one king for 3D Printing and takes scratches like a champ. I print PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA.
Textured is also amazing, but some may not like the texture on their prints.

Thanks for all the info! I've been using the regular textured sheet with no problems, but ordered my MK4 with the additional satin sheet and look forward to using it.

I don't use mine for PLA, usually. I find PLA doesn't stick very well. Usually it's fine, but if the part has any sort of warping tenancies it pulls off during the print much more than it does on the smooth sheet. So I just use the smooth sheet for PLA in general. Most of my printing is in PLA.
For PETG and ASA, I use the satin sheet. I've never tried printing PETG on smooth, but it sticks great to the satin while printing and is usually loose once it cools to room temp without even pulling the sheet off.

But the interesting side is the bottom. Is the adhesion good in the corners?

Adhesion has been great for me in corners and everywhere else.

Seems to be fine for me. Above pics are MK4 parts I printed on my MINI with PETG on the satin sheet.
But the interesting side is the bottom. Is the adhesion good in the corners?
