RE:
How long does it take for the shipping estimates to be updated in an order? I ordered the assembled MK4 unit on April 2nd, two days already, and the shipping estimate is still not updated.
RE: I ordered 😀
There are problems with the ETA , was told yesterday by customer support that they were still addressing the issue. I still don't have an ETA on my order, and current ETAs for those that have them may not be accurate. So hopefully soon they can get it fixed up.
RE: I ordered 😀
I got my shipping notification today. Hopefully DHL can get it here in the US without too much delay 🙂
RE: I ordered 😀
Yay! I hope it gets there quickly safe and sound. 🙂
RE: I ordered 😀
Out for delivery today, a day early. DHL has never been to this house before, and, FedEx/UPS routinely mess up getting here. Hoping it shows up and I can unbox it today 🙂

Here's a few...
...someone should tell Prusa that https://prusa.io/13305 doesn't go anywhere useful, though.
RE:
The frame is most definitely heavier than on the MK3* and the smooth rods are as well.
I don't know about the GUI. I'm kind of a minimalist and I'm used to terse but quick front panels such as on the MK3* and Ultimaker and even the Taz and such.
What is a turn-off is the long start-up sequence. I would think that it could be optimized, however.
Overall, I do like some things about it, but I don't envision 'upgrading' in the near future.
RE: I ordered 😀
Huzzah! I am so glad it made it to you safely! Enjoy and happy printing! 😀
RE: I ordered 😀
Long startup? It doesn't seem long right now, but I haven't timed it. The very first one with calibration takes longer of course, but that's a one-time cost.

RE: I ordered 😀
Has anyone else got an estimated shipping date updated with the order? or it still shows in New-Paid status.
RE: I ordered 😀
On my oder there was no "estimated shipping date". It showed as "New-Paid" until I received the email with the shipping confirmation. I ordered on the 29th, shipment is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
RE: I ordered 😀
Oh boy, they are still filling the orders from the 29th; I think I have a long way to go. Mine was placed on the 4th.
RE: I ordered 😀
Well, it said 1-2 weeks at the time I placed my order. So still within what they promised. 🙂
RE: I ordered 😀
My lead time showed 8-9 weeks when I ordered, but now when you go to prusa3d, the lead time is 6-7 weeks. I hope I will get it in 6-7 weeks, not in 8-9 weeks.
😀
RE: I ordered 😀
And at the start there was the offer for people on the waiting list for an XL to switch to a MK4 and jump to the start of the queue.
