I've ordered the upgrade. I thought the shipping estimate looked pretty good until I saw the year and it says "Expected to ship between 27/03/2024 and 02/04/2024"

I'm hoping that's just a glitch. The Prusa delivery estimates are all over the place, when I ordered an MMU2 it said weeks and it shipped the same day as my printer.

I ordered the MK4 upgrade kit on 3/29. I got a shipping estimate of 4/25/2023 and 5/01/2023. Seems reasonable.

MK4 assembled - didn't "trade in" my XL preorder though, so I didn't get the "high priority" treatment.

I want a kit for MK4 but I might also order a 3.5 upgrade for my 4 Mk3Ss.

Ordered a mk3s+ to mk4 upgrade kit. Shipping starts in june? No worry, my mk3s+ prints flawlessly. Prusa is always late? Well, I hope they do not ship in july since I'm on holidays! August should be ok, september even better since I like more to build in cooler weather.

First minute order and full payment when said In Stock and 1-2 day lead time.  Still showing Paid/New status and no shipping date.

Similar for me, though I think they did ask for a few days to get shipping going. Hoping to hear something tomorrow or Tuesday. It definitely showed in stock when I ordered, and based on Prusa's statements, that should be true and should ship "soon".

Most likely means it prints reliably and good results. Of course nobody likes messing with the Z adjustment and so even if your printer is working extremely well the MK4 contains ease of use enhancements, especially when changing print sheets. You could have two sheets and swap them over quickly, onto the next print while the other cools. No need to change sheets in the menu.

My MK4 arrives Tuesday

Mine shipped last week on 3 day DHL to Pennsylvania.  Not bad for the boys from Prague.  I see the difference between the 4 and the XL as being the hobbyist vs the hobby-professional.  I go by baby steps into 3D printing.  this is excellent for now

Ordered and paid for mine 29/3 (upgrade of an XL pre-order) and was told today, after much obfuscation by their online support person,  that they didn't know when it would ship, but probably in the next month or so.

No mention of long delivery times when the order was placed.

Automatic first layer, silent operations, quick nozzle swap, color screen, embedded wi-fi. A lot of useful features my mk3s+ does not have. If it was only for print quality and reliability I'm already happy with my current results.

Ah, I understand now. Quality of life-around-the-print sort of stuff.

If the Wifi performance is like the Mini then I would invest in an ethernet to wifi adaptor instead. It's incredibly slow compared to the MK3S+ plus Raspberry Pi.
