Filament will purge, but will not flow out during printing

All of a sudden, my MK4 filament stopped flowing. I purged it, changed it, changed the heating setting for the print head and bed, but no matter what it continues to not print. It will print the line to the left before print, then goes out to the middle, a little filament flows but soon runs out. I cleaned the bed, even changed it to another bed surface. Printer is only about 2 weeks old, but have printed two spools of filament already.

Any ideas?

This might be a partial clog.  Have you tried a cold-pull?

RE: cold pull

Interesting. I've never heard of this and wish I had. It could have saved numerous head switching on my  old ender.

I also watched a video on it, ( ) and they recommended using something stiffer than filament. Did you do so, and if you did, what did you use? I have ABS filament, but no silicone or plastic lines that thick.

90% of the time your working filament is enough for the job.
