Different nozzle sizes

I saw the whole discussion of the MK4 having quick-swap nozzles and that led me to assume there would be different sized nozzles for sale.  Was that a silly notion?  The page for the MK4 does say, "other nozzle diameters supported" but I assume that I can only buy nozzles from Prusa, right?  There are only two listed and the other one is for carbon fiber.  Is 0.4 the smallest reasonable nozzle?

The reason I ask is because I was working on some small items with complex logos worked into them and they are closing up on me, so I thought maybe a smaller nozzle would allow me to print finer detail?  I was disappointed as there is no smaller nozzle to buy or try.

I am very new to all this, so I hope these aren't stupid questions.

Thanks for reading.

RE: Different nozzle sizes

You can order different nozzle diameters from Prusa:

Prusa Nozzle brass - 0.25 mm | Original Prusa 3D-Drucker direkt von Josef Prusa

With the nozzle adapter you can mount any nozzle. I'm sure, if the MK4 and the XL get's more popular, there will be third party suppliers for the nozzles.

RE: Different nozzle sizes

There are various other suppliers in Europe for the nozzles already. I bought one from https://www.hpitechnology.com/ that was sold as a E3D nozzle that looks identical to the Prusa version but in slightly different packaging, but was £10 cheaper

Sources for Prusa MK4 nozzles

You can order these nozzles also from E3D in the UK. The nozzles are produced by E3D.

RE:

Thank you!  Ordered the 0.25 nozzle.  Seems strange that Prusa doesn't sell multiple sizes.

Well, shoot, I totally missed that the size was a drop-down.  Thanks!
