Completed Time at end of Print?

MK3S always displayed the total print time after a print ended.   Any way to enable that on the MK4?

Its not included - maybe it will be introduced with a firmware update......

RE: Completed Time at end of Print?

I’m curious, why do you care about that?

Personally, I only care about print time before and during the print. Once done…doesn’t matter. On to the next print.

However, my MINI tracks total printer print time, total filament extruded, and total distance traveled on all three axis. This can be accessed in the menu. Since the MINI and MK4 share much of the same firmware, I’d bet this is available on the MK4 as well. A quick search shows this is better than the MK3 statistics, which only tracked total printer print time and total filament used.

Agree with above comment RE caring about print time after the print. But yes, you may find something in the menu’s, but unfortunately not on the actual default print screen at the end of the print. I recall it being a requested feature though so hopefully may come with an update.

RE: Completed Time at end of Print?

The reason that is useful for me is because I heavily modify the print speed in my gcodes, to get my prints as fast as I can, especially on items I sell and need to sometimes print quickly, or in bulk.   When you do this, the time in slicer does not change.   The expected time on the printer display does change based on the speed on that layer, but it's wildly inaccurate.

I sometimes have 5 or 10 speed changes per print, from 100% to 150% up to 250% depending on what is getting printed on that layer.  Having the elapsed time at the end of the print let me easily know if a change I made resulted in a faster print or not.

Doing this I have cut some of my print times in half, for example I have a gcode that slices out to about 4 hours and with my changes in place it now prints in 2h 11m with no loss in quality.

In addition to MK4 speed increases, you have settings that half those times, with no decrease in quality?  Wow! Can you share?
