Bolt Tightening and Probing

I have three questions about the MK4 kit, which is now fully assembled and working extremely well.

1. Is there any need to check and re-tighten any bolts on the kit once it has been printing for 40-50 hours?

2. I noticed that the new Slicer version introduces two new probe points close to the nozzle cleaning area, but only probes one of them. Is this normal? The matrix of nine or twelve or twenty one probe points around the model still complete as before.

3. Should I be concerned about probe points leaving small dots of PLA and whether it will affect the final print? I'm always careful to remove these tiny dots before the next print.

Thanks.

I would tend to do the first regular maintenance earlier than the later, regular cycle.

Oozing is often an early sign of damp filament.

Cheerio,

Thanks. I wouldn’t say it’s oozing as such. It’s almost an unseen dot, as if the bed has grabbed a tiny piece from inside the end of the nozzle.

Probably nothing.
