Anyone in the USA order hot end socks from levendigdsgn?

Curious how long it took? I don't really want to try PETG printing without a protective sock as it seems a lot stringier than PLA. (Counting just business days, I think today was 9 days). Do Nord Post parcels get delivered by the USPS once it gets in the country?

I've done, they work well. The Nord Post parcel delivery took a couple weeks and was delivered by the USPS.  Some Levandigdsgn parts are available from Partsbuilt in the US as well, more expensive but quicker delivery.

I have made two orders of mk4 socks from them (I am near Seattle, WA, USA).  Both were shipped in one day and were here in less than 10 days.

The tracking links they provide are not very helpful...  But, at least if you choose the "with tracking" option as I did, the exact NL tracking number they give you can be pasted into the USPS tracking site -- and you'll see current status there.

I really like their sock design.  Fits very well and it has an extra "ridge" around the nozzle that helps protect the nozzle-to-heatblock interface from getting any filament deposited there.  I print mostly PETG, and the cleanliness provided by the socks makes nozzle changes a lot easier.

Thanks for the replies. I hope that means my socks will arrive in the next few days :-).

In case anyone is interested, my socks were shipped Sep 28 and arrived Oct. 16, so that's a little more than 2 weeks for me here in South Florida. Next step - try printing PETG with the satin sheet.

Will the sock help with that?  I get poor adhesion with PETG on the satin sheet, and I now print pretty much all PETG parts on the PEI sheet with a release agent (Windex).

I also ordered a couple socks from the same source.

I had said less than 10 days earlier, but I went back and checked the tracking -- both were exactly 10 days.  (That's "business days" or "weekdays", so basically two weeks depending on where the weekends fall, so close to your experience.)

No, but I have had perfect results using PETG on the Satin sheet.  Stays adhered during print and nearly falls off by itself when cool.  That's been my experience with both Prusament and eSun PETG.  I initially cleaned the sheet with Dawn dish soap, hot water, and a non-scratch scrubber.  Between prints, I wipe it down with 99% IPA on a microfiber cloth.  The "perfect first layer" rhetoric has absolutely been true for me, even with PETG on Satin.

I always find PETG to be pretty stringy, so the socks help keep the print head clean. I've only done a couple of test prints on the satin sheet, but PETG has had good adhesion so far.
