4.6.1 Firmware update via USB from linux console?

From what I read it looks like updating the new board via usb is not supported, but I can't find anything definitive; can anyone comment?

Would love to be able to update via USB or through PrusaLink

I looked for that myself and couldn't find it.  So just did the file on USB stick method.  Just a tip, make sure there isn't a previous firmware file on the stick, that seemed to prevent the new one from being recognized (not a big surprise of course).

I did not delete the file with the previous firmware version from the USB stick. Just copied the new .bbf file on to the stick. I switched the printer off before I put the stick back into the printer. I did this because I had read this report and the reply from Prusa support before that. When I switched the printer back on it recognized the new firmware and installed it. Went without a hitch.

I did the same as Walter, no need to remove the old firmware from the USB stick, the new one was recognized on power up.
