Yeah, mine is from the same date and has not shipped yet, although I just have the standard MK3S+. As new orders are supposed to ship in November (although it does not say November of which year on the ordering page), I guess we get ours before. However, I am still not optimistic to have it anytime soon.

I added 8mm rods and bearings to my MK4 upgrade order a couple of months back, the old MK3 ones have been put to one side just in case they're needed.

While printing the parts for the upgrade and looking through the instructions, thought occured to me - what use could all the replaced parts from the MK3 version be used for? Seems like all that electronics/stepper-motors/etc ought to be able to build something. Small robots to go bring in the mail, something!

I just received the payment request for upgrading my power supply to the current generation.  So my order for the upgrade from the MK III to MK IV is getting one step closer to the ship date.

Successfully printed the rocket engine in PLA overnight.  Now trying some ninjaflex!

My order was on April 5. I just got notice of shipping prep yesterday. I have a MK4 and an XL already. The firmware has room for improvement with regards to the first layer and Prusa Link/Connect need work, but the great thing about Prusa is that things get better over time. 

How did you get the green? That looks great!

One of the problems with assembly for both the XL and MK4 is the low contrast between all the black parts. It doesn't matter much in practice, but it's sometimes difficult to see what you are doing (for not-young eyes at least)

I printed all the parts in in Hatchbox Pastel Green ABS.  it was a bit of a pain to keep the printer hooked up for ventilation during the printing of the parts, but I think the result is great!  I wish prusa would give a .3mf with all the parts in the preferred orientation with any supports so that it would be easier to do what I did with the other parts.  I added a bunch of support material in some places that I had to remove in post processing.  I might reprint the y rod holders since I was a little rough with them in the process.  I have another kit in the box waiting to upgrade my other MK3s printer, but I wanted to get a good feel for this first one before I did lol.  I also ordered a 5 extruder XL on day one and I'm still waiting on THAT email lol.

But so far this has been good.  Having to learn all the new behavior.

Only for fun - I asked in chat -again after 6 weeks - ,when will be my order (from 3/30) finished. Answer - the same as usual  "your order will be ready in the end of the next week or a week later" So asking chat is futility at all.

Ugh.   So frustrating.  I will say it was worth the wait though.  I'm liking the upgrade so far.   I plan to start on the second printer probably this weekend.  Now that I've had a good burn-in on the first one.

After all the waiting... my 3/29 day 1 upgrade order finally shipped yesterday 10/1. Should hopefully arrive this week and the box of printed parts that's been collecting dust will be finally used (yes doubled checked that no changes were made)

Congrats!  Make sure you check your rods and bearings closely before taking things apart!   I ended up ordering replacement x and y rods because of grooves.

Hang in there guys.  It's worth the wait.  

I ordered an MK4 kit in April and got it around mid-August.  It's my 2nd Prusa printer.  The first one was an MK3S+.  It's been with me for 2 years.  I wanted to see what the MK4 kit could do.  If it does well, I would upgrade my MK3S+ to an MK4.  

The assembly of the MK4 kit, in my view, was far better than the MK3S+.  The instructions and the parts just fit nicely.  Hard to explain.  I just felt it was.  The electronics assembly was also simpler.  Anyway, it's been more than a month now with the MK4.  This printer is awesome.  I love the speed.  Especially after installing firmware 5.0,0.  Yeah, it was like a possessed printer when it did all those checks after installing 5.0.0.  But it made a huge difference in terms of print speed and print quality.  I have been printing the printed parts for the upgrade kit on both printers and the MK3S+ is eating the dust of the MK4.  It does everything 2X faster.  Amazing.

So, I placed an order today for the upgrade kit for my MK3S+ to MK4.  Might as well have 2 MK4s.  I hope to get mine in November.  

I also ordered new rods and bearings.  Might as well replace them while the patient is open.

I've been on the fence about cancelling my upgrade, changing the order to a complete printer, or just living with the MK3S. Ordered the upgrade on the 29th and have an MK3 that's been upgraded but with a silver PS. Customer service said it was supposed to ship a week and a half ago but it never did. In the meantime my XL 5 tool semi-assembled just shipped yesterday that supposedly wasn't going to be ready for a month or more because there were several hundred pre-orders ahead of me.
