Z axis test failed but printing ok
Hi guys,
I have an MK4 that prints without a problem, but the z-axis test/calibration never goes through:
When I run it, it seems to be done correctly, but it always ends up with the red cross, with no error message.
I've checked the direction of the trapezoidal nut, as well as the positioning of the hotend, but everything seems fine.
But I get a calibration alert message every time I start up...
I don't understand ...
Thanks for your help

Good to hear that you that you are able to print despite failure testing the Z-axes during calibration.
I'm in the same situation with testing failure of the Z-axis, despite following all suggestion on what to do: Nozzle insertion distance, "correct orientation of the trapezoidal nuts" - silly ! because there is no choice of direction !; sloosing screws ! etc
I think I simple will do as you : start printing.
RE: Z axis test failed but printing ok
Just bought a mk4s recently.. and have done all the tests.. i am in the same predicament: z axis test fail.. tried the trapezoidal nuts several times, but what i see makes me wonder : it checks all other axles as well.. so.. wondering if its anything else failing.. when only reporting z axis?
