Y Motor threading defect?
I just got my Mk 4 kit. I’m at step 31 where I screw the Y motor holder to the Y motor. The middle screw won’t go in and the hole on the Y motor appears to be filled with a clear hard material (glue?) and I can’t tell if the hole goes down to the required depth. This appears to be a manufacturing defect. What next? Can I rotate the holder to use the three good holes or is cable orientation critical?

What ended up being the issue? Just asking as it may be helpful to others encountering the same (or similar) issues.

Chat didn't say specifically. I sent them the photo. They said "Oh, that doesn't look good" and we immediately went down the path of sending a replacement Y-motor in the mail. My guess is during manufacturing whatever process their supplier used to tap the screw hole failed. Prusa gave me a great support experience.
I tried posting the photo into this thread twice and it doesn't appear for me. Not sure why that is.

what ever you did to insert your photo, added a load of formatting information which effectively prevented the picture from displaying.

Thanks! And now that it posts I can see my caption was wrong. 🙂 It is the bottom right hole that did not tap correctly.
