Y-Carriage touches Y-Motor-Holder

At Step 7-36 I noticed that the Carriage slightly touches the motor holder. I can still push the carriage over the "nose", but I guess it's not meant this way?

I recon that either the motor holder is too high or the carriage too low. I don't see how I could have messed this up.

The lower edge (oriented as installed) of the chamfer is aligned with the frame. I can't describe the distance between the carriage and the frame. For the rod holder assembly see the picture below.

Do you have any idea what could have gone wrong? What's the distance between motor holder and carriage at a properly assembled printer?

Thank you soo much! Any help or hint is appreciated

For build help use the 'Chat Now' button at bottom right of that page.  They will want pictures from several angles.

SOLVED

Reread all the comments to the assembly instruction. Searched workspace at daylight and found the missing plastic spacer between carriage and bearing...
