X axis failure - tighter on the right side than left

Not sure what happened. Assembled and been printing for weeks. Was running into print issues (bed adhesion) and decided to run a self test and the X axis fails. The carriage feels 'tighter' when moving to the right side, about 6-10 inches from extreme right.

I've even removed the cover from the bottom bearings and as I slide the carriage to the right, the left bear has space above the carriage. Not sure if this is normal, I'm trying to illustrate the the rails don't seem paralell and is causing the carriage to be difficult to slide all the way to the right.

How do I fix this or even investigate further? What's the easiest way to remove the X axis carriage to gain access to everything on it (do you just use the manual in reverse?)?

Remove the motor by undoing the 3 screws that attaches it and manually spin it

I'm not sure, do you know how to test that?

It seems to become tighter in the same-ish spots. But it's about the last 4-6 inches on the right, less than my original post. But enough to fail on the axis test every time.

Disregard. I totally misunderstood what you were saying. I'll give that a try. Just wanted to clarify while people read my reply above.

I took off the X axis motor. I didn't feel it sticking or more difficult to turn at any point. Also, while the motor was off, I didn't feel the resistance along the X axis. Any ideas on what to try next?
