Purpose / Necessity of Filament Sensor Cover?
Just received and set up an MK4. A piece of plastic with a brass fitting in it was in the box, but not pre-assembled. Google says this is a filament sensor cover.
I notice that most people don't seem to have it installed when I find videos of people using this printer. What is this part for? And should I install it?

This is the cover for the MK3 Extruder.
The brass screw thread is to mount an adapter for a ptfe tube. E.g. if you use the enclosure.
