printer only recognises g-code that came preloaded on sd-card

I am able to print the example files that came preloaded onto the usb. Now I have installed PrusaSlicer and imported my .STL/.3MF file that I made in Shapr3D and I can successfully sliced the model ad preview it without issues in the G-code viewer, but then I try to open it with the 3D printer, it doesn't show a preview like it does for the other gcode files, and when I press 'Print', it just sits there doing nothing for a few minutes then the print icon changes to Reprint.

I've double checked the printer settings and they are identical to the examples. If anyone has any ideas what is the problem here I would really appreciate it

try importing and slicing an STL that wasn't made in Shapr3d, see if that slices and prints ok.
the issue, may be with the shaper stl's

RE:

Feel free to save the project from Prusaslicer as a 3mf file, zip compress it and attach it to a post here. That way we can check the STL as well as all your settings for issues.

Have you tried printing the part 'Clip'  without all of the modifications to the prusa profile?

I don't see anything obviously wrong with the model or the settings. Just trying to check off all the boxes: Are you running firmware 5.0.0 on the Mk4?

In Prusa slicer the right hand window shows there are modifications in each section

the three red ovals show the word modified!
then in Printer settings

the RED Unlocked locks indicate where changes were made by someone

Again red unlocked lock indicates a change

again unlocked lock shows changes

If you click on the red lock, it should change to grey, and restore the normal defaults
slicing with a prusa default profile, should result in a reasonable print, once you have a reasonable print, you can consider making changes, if they are required. and see what happens.

Yes the firmware is the latest and I do not see those modifications when I use PrusaSlicer.

Hi Ben,
Have you got a print to print yet?   If not,
Please try the attached Gcode    (Clip JT.Gcode)

Clip JT

In Prusa slicer the right hand

Huh, I don't see any of those when I open the 3mf the OP uploaded with PS 2.6.1.

I tried updating the firmware with a .bbf file from the USB drive but my printer says its an unsupported bbf file. That's not making any sense to me, it seems to be having an identity crisis.

Using Prusa Link over Ethernet connection I am able to get it to work, although its extremely slow to start working.

I think the issue is because I'm using a company PC. It's possible that it encrypts anything loaded onto the USB drive so third parties can't read anything back only devices on my company's network

Thank you for the help

Call me a simpleton, but.. Could it be because your sliced file has the suffix ".g" instead of normally ".gcode" ???

Joan the profiles in the 3mf are just different from the versions you have on your computer. They are the same named profiles which is why yours mark the differences. I’ve seen it before when opening other 3mf files.
