Pillowing on MK4 or is it something else?

Experiencing some issues with flat surface prints. I think this is called "Pillowing" but I'm not too sure what it is.

I don't see any issues with larger prints but flat prints always have this rough surface/lines. The pasta one had ironing enabled and even that didn't help much.

- PrusaSlicer

- Generic PLA profile

- Input Shaping - STRUCTURAL

- Overture PLA

I found someone else who had the same issue but he never really explained how he fixed it. Can't message him either since I need 3 posts to send a PM haha

Any help is appreciated!

RE:

Did you check if you are overextruding? Is your top layer generally looking like there is too much material? What happens if you dial down the extrusion factor by 0.01 or maybe 0.05?

And how many solid layers does your Top layer have?

5 solid top layers.

Thanks, so I talked to support and they said it’s over extrusion and to dial it down by 2.5%. I’ll test out a lower extrusion factor of 0.975 without ironing. Hoping for the best

Looks like it’s the ironing option for sure
