Petg first layer adhesion problem

I just got my MK4 a few weeks ago and got comfortable with PLA so I thought I would dive into PETG.  I switched my bed to a textured PEI and away I went.  I have been having a terrible time getting the first layer to stay on the bed.  I set my bed temp to 85 and nozzle to 245 (I ran a temp tower and the tower came off the bed at 240).  I have washed the bed with soap and water and then cleaned with IPA.  I ran a 1st layer test with nozzle at 245 and bed at 85.  I have attached a photo which to me looks like part of the bed has an issue.  Should I try cleaning again?  I have not printed anything put PTEG on this sheet.  I'm using Numaker PTEG and it's the only roll I have at the moment.  Any suggestions would be welcome including if you have any experience with Numaker.  Thanks,  Doug

There is a chance you have a really stubborn grease spot (it happens with laundry too - some stains survive ordinary washing) - that sort of pattern does sometimes occur with fingerprints ...

I would try a drastic wash - rub neat dishwashing detergent into the build sheet, wait ten minutes, then wash clean with very hot water.

Cheerio,

Thanks,

I will give that a go.  I think I'm going to also mark each side so I can tell them apart.

Thanks to Diem my problem is no longer!  I took the textured sheet and scrubbed it with soap and water again this time using a Scotch 3m green sponge with abrasive side using a little pressure.  Let it sit for a bit and then rinsed with hot water and then did a final rinse with RO filtered water.  My layer test was perfect!
