PE Cable?
In chapter 6 of the assembly instructions it talks about the PE Cable, it connects to the buddy board, the display and the PSU. I am told by support that it's a grounding cable. My MK3S+ (and I believe all others prior) did not have this cable. Is it necessary?
The reason I ask is that my situation is a bit unique in that my printer (and I) live on a sailboat, and I power it from my boats battery system. I can potentially run a grounding cable from the grounding plate on the boat, but that's a long run of wire. Support is asking the development team what happens if I don't connect this, but in the mean time, I thought I would ask here if anybody knew if this was necessary?

Support got back to me (always impressed with Prusa support). The cable is required for certification purposes, and they say it can be removed if necessary. I would advise anybody to keep it unless they are in a similar unique situation.
RE: PE Cable?
I believe it's to stop electric static from frying the lcd as that was a big problem with mk3s
Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models
