Hello all fellow users, im experiencing alot of rattling/vibration from the Y-carriage. Is there any one that has a quick fix for this?

I thought first it was coming from the printers X-carriage. But after some investigation i can confrim its coming from the X-carriage/heatbed.
Not found any solution yet to solve the problem unfortunately.
What i have tried:
- Lubricate the rods
- Torque check of bolts and nuts
- Check with support. But we couldnt find any solution as I had limited time for the fault finding process. Will try some more when I have the time.
- Running printer on squash ball stands.

Hi again, problem is fixed. 100% motor problem that caused the rattling.
Took 10 min to change the motor, so its a easy step if you have a pre-assemble printer as mine.
***Only miss steps by Prusa is they forgot to send a new termal tape with the motor. Luckly I had some spare tape/plate from a other project I needed termal tapes.

It's worth checking to make sure no hardware or debris found its way into one of the aluminum extrusions.

Hi again, after checking with support again. They can confirm there has been a issue/problem with the Y-axis motors shipped in some batches. I was therefore sent a new motor as mine has a minor defect. Printer works, but irritating sound as seen in the video attached.

@bigzh: can you confirm the new motor fixed the problem? mine sounds exactly like yours when printing

Hi, I'm still waiting for my own kit, but is there any way to detect the versions of the engines.

They way to detect it is to send the QR code and serial code to support. When the problem appears. They can confirm if its related to a bad batch.
